顯示的內容可以通過一個XML工程（靜態文件或者服務器端動態生成的文件）來完全量身定制。
Java Applets:

• 顯示光柵圖象
• 基于對ORACLE空間表/定位表進行Select操作來構建對象。
• 編輯或者創建對象，并且可以將其保存到ORACLE空間表/定位表中。
• 可以縱覽地圖，移動并且縮放地圖，關閉或者打開圖層，改變顯示參數，顯示名稱等。

Java Servlets:

• 當進行Select查詢ORACLE空間表/定位表時，會給Applets傳遞許多顯示的向量。（只有建立了與ORACLE服務器端連接才可以）
• 可以傳遞壓縮的鑲嵌圖象給Applets.
• 可以根據客戶要求來提供給客戶AutoCAD(DWG)圖像的組成部分和GeoTiff（地理標簽圖象文件）

Java 程序開發員還可以：

• 開發新的Applets，并且將DbMAP ASJ完全整合在其中。
• 修改由DbMAP ASJ提供的附屬Applets——并附帶有DbMAP ASJ相關源代碼。
